Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 11, 2026

Pencil It In is built to be private by design. The app runs entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data — there are no accounts, no analytics, and no servers that receive your information.

The short version

  • Your plans, tasks, routines, and settings stay on your iPhone.
  • We have no server, and nothing you enter is ever sent to us or to any third party.
  • We use no analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.
  • You don’t create an account or give us your email to use the app.

Information we collect

None. Pencil It In does not collect any personal data. The content you create in the app — schedules, time blocks, tasks, and routines — is stored locally on your device and, if you enable it, in your own private iCloud account, which we cannot access.

Your calendar and reminders

With your permission, Pencil It In reads your device calendar and reminders (through Apple’s EventKit) so it can show what you’ve already committed to and avoid scheduling conflicts, and it can write the time blocks you create back to the calendars you choose. This happens entirely on your device. We never receive, store, or transmit your calendar or reminder data. You can grant or revoke this access at any time in iOS Settings.

Purchases

The optional subscription and one-time lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or handle your payment information. Apple’s handling of your purchase is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Third parties

Pencil It In contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. No third party receives data from the app.

Children’s privacy

Pencil It In does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. Because the app collects no data at all, it is safe for users of any age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Because the app is offline and collects no data, any change will be about clarity rather than new data practices.
